All not-for-profits, community groups and charity-based organisations can become a member of Volunteering Hawke's Bay, and use our services to help find volunteers for your cause.
It is a simple process and membership is free.
Registration Process
Once we have received your registration form we will get in touch by phone to discuss your volunteering needs. We will ask about your current processes, health and safety guidelines, and details about the opportunities you have for potential volunteers.
What We Offer
Volunteer Coordinators Network Meetings
Throughout the year, we hold a series of networking meetings. These offer you the opportunity to discuss volunteering-related topics, ask questions and share volunteer management ideas and experience.
Support
We provide assistance with drafting openings to post on our website that will achieve the results you are looking for. If you have an upcoming event, we can help promote it through the Volunteering Hawkes Bay Facebook page and other social media.
Information
We provide a library of information about recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers. We also have resources to help with setting up a volunteer programme, recruiting volunteer coordinators and more.
