More volunteers register on line.... staying an average of 7min on site
From 1st March 2011 to 1st March 2012 we referred 329 volunteers, 226 women and 103 men
112 people were 20-29 years old, and 78 people were 30-39 years old. These age groups had the highest numbers of volunteers.
33 young people under 20 and 33 people over 60 were referred. 46% got matched, doing work at the op shops, Riding for the Disabled, Red Cross, Volunteering Hawkes Bay, Leg Up Trust, Age Concern, Roseanne Resthome, Hawke' s Bay Restorative Justice, etc.
People volunteered to be shop assistants, tactile resource makers, photographers, reading and writing support, working with animals and youth, giving financial support, working with the elderly, etc.
We offer 115 jobs from 75 organisations.
